Roller door

A roller door is made of narrow interlocking aluminium slats that wind onto a barrel housed in a headbox above the opening as the door is raised.

Roller doors are almost always sold electric with the operator built into the headbox. Because the curtain rolls tightly above the opening, they use less ceiling depth than a sectional door but do need headroom for the headbox itself.
