Fixing frame

The fixing frame is the perimeter frame fitted into the structural opening that the garage door, its tracks and its hinges or gear are actually mounted to.

A sound, square fixing frame is essential for smooth door operation; a worn or out-of-square existing frame is a common reason a straightforward door swap turns into a larger job. Frame condition should always be checked before a like-for-like replacement is quoted.
